Keith
My love for toys/collectibles started in the early 70's. Growing up I enjoyed racing Slot Cars (T-Jet, AFX and Tyco) with my Cousins (for X-mas gift my cousin Harry sent away for a Tyco 57 flip nose slot car...I still have that car to this day), Mattel Hot wheels (King Kuda Club Car was my first car), Topper Johnny Lightnings, Marx Nutty Mads, and Mattel Sizzlers. In my youth, I loved eating cereal and the little toys that came with the cereal. My cereal favorites include Cap'n Crunch, Freakies, and the Monster cereal. I enjoy all the little toys that your got for free. Lucky for me, my three older sister didn't really care about them. To top all this off, I enjoyed drinking Kool aid and Pillsbury Goofy Grape. I remember sending away for the plastic cups. I still have my original Goofy Grape and Lefty Lemon cups.
In the early 90's while away at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh, I rediscovered Ho slot cars at a local resale shop. There I purchased some slot cars I have never seen before and couldn't believe all the different Ford cars available. As a youth, Pilot the local hobby store only had an Orange Cheetah, Yellow Dune Buggy, or a Ford GT. This was a whole new experience and I would travel to the Hobby Store in the Milwaukee area to search for more cars...A Batmobile, a Green Hornet, Mustangs, Chargers...Holy Cow. I was hooked.
